Reviews
The trail is easy to follow and you do not need to be experienced to do it.
Do keep in mind the weather is very hot so you could get sweaty.
That said, the nature is absolutely beautiful and it is amazing to see the monkeys living free here.
Beautiful park with lots of hiking options. Like a trip to the jungle only a few minutes away from vibrant city life. Monkeys will guide you through the forest :)
Suitable for family outing. Do bring along item like bottled water, towel, umbrella and some snacks to munch on along the way. Reminder not to feed the monekys as they have more than enough food in the reserves. Thank you.
A nice, easy walk with many trail options and some boardwalks. There are good views on offer at the Jelutong Tower and the treetop walk. We were so lucky to see two critically endangered lesser mouse deer! Also saw monkeys, monitor lizards, squirrels, turtles and horseshoe crabs, and heard many birds and frogs. Allow 3-4 hours to explore.
If you are a nature lover then you can't miss this. The trail is built around the water reservoir. It has multiple trail to choose ...some goes inside the forest while other around the edge of water reservoir shore. People of all age can enjoy and may encounter some animals as we did.
The yellow trail can take up to 3.5 hours for the 18 km. It takes you to the Jelutong tower also.
High quality trail with monkeys and interesting views. Not strenuous. Mostly flat. Good for everyday hikers and just getting out into nature. MANY ways to get out in case you get lost easily.
Great train of 11K in the middle of the forest
